Extended-family sessions are perfect when grandparents, siblings, cousins and grandchildren are all together. Tara will guide your group through the photographs you want most while keeping the experience organized, comfortable and efficient.
Your session can include:
• The entire extended family
• Grandparents with all grandchildren

• Individual immediate-family groupings
• Siblings and cousins together
• Couples
• Individual children
• Candid interactions and natural moments
Before your session, Tara will help you choose a location and create a group list so the most important combinations are not missed. She will also provide planning and wardrobe guidance to help everyone look coordinated without showing up in identical outfits. We have officially retired the matching white shirts and khakis.
Extended-family sessions are available for groups of up to 20 people.
A RELAXED AND ORGANIZED EXPERIENCE
Photographing a large family requires more than placing everyone in a row and hoping all eyes are open.
Tara brings a calm, organized approach to every extended-family session. She will move through the larger groupings first and then break everyone into smaller combinations, allowing children to take breaks and family members to relax between photographs.
The result is a gallery that includes the traditional portraits everyone wants, along with the genuine connections that make your family yours.
Extended-family sessions can take place at an outdoor location in the Plainfield, Joliet or Shorewood area. Depending on the size of your group and the space available, your home or another meaningful private location may also be an option.
